I met John (and Ryane) through First Baptist Hurst before their daughters were born.  I was in choir and remember John in orchestra.  In April 2001 we had a music ministry “luau” and I’m enclosing a couple of pictures from that night.  I have John and Ryane together as well as one that I’m pretty sure is John making an appearance as “Elvis” that night.  I do remember he always had a smile and was a talented musician.

I didn’t know John and Ryane outside of FBC Hurst, though we did run into each other when they moved into my neighborhood in Euless at some point before I left Texas and returned to my home state of Delaware in 2011.

I was so sorry to hear of John’s accident and passing (through my friend Roxanne Nations) and send my prayers and condolences to the entire Moates family.
